Fiction Fast-Track: How it works

 1. We’re looking for brilliant unpublished fiction and short-story collections (min. 50,000 words) – please don’t submit biographies, autobiographies, illustrated books, poetry or your granddad’s war diaries!
2. You submit your entire novel or short-story collection in Word format. We have to ask for the entire work because we’re writers ourselves: we know how easy it is to produce a knockout first chapter and then take several years to complete the rest. 3. If, in our opinion, your work has literary and commercial potential, we will post the first chapter (or 2,500 words, whichever is shorter) on Fiction Fast-Track for the world to read and rate. 4. At the end of each round, the book with the highest star rating will go on sale under the ApostropheBooks.com banner. Should your work win, we will send you our contract. You’ll find it very author-friendly. You’ll also find that it relates only to digital versions of your work. If a conventional publisher loves the ebook and wants to award you a hardback contract, then we will be delighted. Obviously, there are one or two conditions, and we ask you to make sure you’ve read and understood them. |
